The 2021 Audio Experience Highlights
Running alone while still connected to the rest of the world: that only happens at the Wings for Life World Run.
An incredible 184,236 runners and wheelchair users in 151 countries were all running at the same time on May 9, 2021, to run for those who can't.
In the biggest running event ever, all participants started alone for themselves or in small groups â depending on local rules and restrictions in place at the time. All the same, they had that event feeling, which tends to only happen at big popular runs or marathons, and felt connected with the whole world.
This was made possible by the unique Audio Experience provided by the Wings for Life World Run App, which informs, entertains and motivates the runners and wheelchair users.
If you didn't run with us this year and experience the Audio Experience, you now have the chance to get a taste of it. Listen to the audio file and get an idea of what went down on race day.
