Germanyโs Flagship Run with new route in Munich
The Wings for Life World Run in Munich in 2025 will feature a completely new route and promises participants a unique running experience through the heart of the city. For the first time, the route will lead through Schwabing, past the historic Kรถnigsplatz and through the museum district before returning to the Olympic Park. The route then takes the participants out of the city, first towards Dachau and then south past Fรผrstenfeldbruck - with the Catcher Car as a rolling finish line behind them.
More emotions, more sights, more variety
The new route brings numerous advantages for the participants. With more spectators along the route, the atmosphere will be even more rousing, and the energy of the city will literally carry the runners into the race. From the impressive Kรถnigsplatz with its classicist buildings to the world-famous Pinakothek art galleries and the charming streets of Schwabing and Maxvorstadt - the new route ensures an urban running experience with a real city feel. Along the route, various entertainment stations with music and entertainment create a unique atmosphere - for runners and spectators alike. There is also something new to discover for Munich's running community: Those who are already familiar with the Munich Half Marathon or Marathon can look forward to a fresh challenge in terms of the route, which leaves familiar paths and has new highlights in store.
